Read Across America week starts March 9th here at OLS!
More info to follow in library classes this week and next, however, I wanted to let everyone know about the OLS Book Swap on Friday March 13. This is a great way to get kids involved in donating books they have outgrown. I am asking for each child to donate 2 gently used/read books that they already own.
At the end of Read Across America week, OLS students will be able to walk through and each pick out a “new to them” book! All the extras will be donated to a local elementary school here in Reno for their students to pick and take home a free book as well! I will have collection bins in the library- books can be donated up until March 12. Please only donate children’s books for grades K-8.
