Service is a foundational piece of our school identity and our religion program at Snows. Our students participate in a variety of service projects designed to give them hands-on, age appropriate opportunities to learn about Catholic social justice teachings. Our school service projects expose students to opportunities to serve both locally and globally. These projects aim to give students a deeper and broader understanding of what service truly means as they progress through their years here at Snows.
Students at Our Lady of the Snows work to improve the lives of others by participating in a variety of service projects. Part of our SLEs and mission as a Catholic school is to take responsibility for the needs of others, locally and globally. Events that our children participate include:
Food drives
Project Easter Basket (Catholic Charities)
Toiletries drive (St. Vincents)
Letters and blanket for children at the Kids Kottage
Blankets and letters for Children’s Cancer Foundation
